A rabbit like these can live 8 to 12 years.

Taken the day they were born, before anything else. Six of them, in a nest of shavings and the fur their mother pulled to line it.

Their eyes started to open on , at twelve days old. At six days one was white and five were fawn; coats can still shift as they come in, so the honest read on colour is at four weeks, when I name them. The dated photos below are them growing up; tap any to see it full size.

The first two weeks decide everything, so I don't name kits or take reservations until four weeks, once I can tell you sex and colour honestly. The day reservations open, the waitlist hears first. For this litter that is from . The born and raised numbers both go here once the raised number is real, same as every litter.

A rabbit like these can live 8 to 12 years.

This is the photo from the day they arrived, before their eyes were open and before they had any fur. The fawn rabbit in the frame is from the litter before this one, about a month old here.

Six were born and four made it through the first fortnight. Losing kits that early is ordinary and it is not something I am going to leave out. This page is worth nothing to you if I only print the numbers that flatter me.

The four went up on the site at four weeks old, once I could tell you their sex and colour honestly. Two fawn does and two sable point bucks.

Five born, four raised

A rabbit like these can live 8 to 12 years.

The litter that started it all: my first litter ever, and the first time I'd had baby rabbits. I didn't have a nest box yet, and I didn't know she was pregnant.

Five were born. One didn't make it. The other four were raised and went to their homes before this site existed, so they were never listed here.

The photo is from the day they were born: one of them in my hand, and the fur she pulled for a nest in the tray.

The photo I take the day a litter is born, kept here from then on. The date is on the picture itself, so you can see for yourself that these are mine. Every litter I have ever had is here, nothing left out, starting with my first ever on 28 June 2026. Anything newer than the last litter here is in the rabbitry news.
